CNHED members work to develop strategies that address the most important affordable housing and economic development issues facing the District. Through collaboration, working groups, capacity building and technical assistance, CNHED members are an established alliance, with a track record of great success in our community development efforts.
CNHED is a unifying voice and representative of the community development sector. Through our established reputation and relationship with the DC Government, CNHED is an advocacy powerhouse, representing our members and under-resourced District residents.
CNHED members are active in our working groups, policy research, advocacy campaigns as well as regular participants in our monthly meetings and capacity building trainings. During budget season and throughout the year, members come together to testify and speak out to DC government officials on issues impacting their constituents.
