Housing Advocacy

CNHED believes that an ample supply and array of solutions is needed to end chronic homelessness and to sustain a continuum of housing that meets the needs of the most economically vulnerable residents of the District. CNHED supports Housing First, as well as other evidence-based models that demonstrate successful outcomes for their residents.

Economic Development Advocacy

Economic growth must be the priority for every community. CNHED works with our members, other advocates and policymakers to strengthen and cultivate the District’s community development economy. We not only work with our partners to advocate for policies, initiatives and programs that promote job creation and encourage investment, but also ones that address racial inequity and result in equitable economic prosperity throughout all District communities.
