CNHED is excited to welcome Kenneth Burton (left), Chief Financial Officer of Jubilee Housing and Louis Freeman (right), SVP CRA Managing Director of Partnership and Services Truist, as the newest members of our Board of Directors!

Kenneth Burton, the Chief Operating Officer of Jubilee Housing, serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Jubilee Housing, a non-profit affordable housing provider and developer in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of DC, serving more than 1,000 people with housing and support services. Kenneth previously served as the Director of Development Finance at Fairstead Affordable Housing leading financial management, investor relations, and lender reporting for four and nine percent tax credit projects. He is experienced in all stages of development having completed 29 LIHTC affordable housing projects, preserving over 3,500 units nationwide over a three-year span.

Louis Freeman, the SVP CRA Managing Director of Partnership and Services at Truist, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in community development and economic empowerment.  His expertise in leveraging resources and creating innovative solutions will be instrumental in advancing our mission.

Together, Kenneth and Louis join our existing board members and industry experts to form a dynamic team that is committed to making a difference. With their diverse perspectives and extensive networks, we are confident that they will contribute fresh ideas and insights to our organization’s strategic planning and decision-making processes.
