Victoria Perez has served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at MiCasa, Inc. since July 2021. In her role as Community Impact Specialist VISTA, Victoria works to build a tracking and community engagement system that works to improve community outreach initiatives through a newly developed database.
After her year of service with MiCasa, Inc., she intends to continue her AmeriCorps VISTA service at another CNHED member organization. In her next role, Victoria hopes to further her knowledge of working with non-profit organizations and devote her time to eradicating poverty in the District. She is excited to get to work and meet new people while also building capacity for local mission-based organizations.
