Renee Cordio has served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Capital Clubhouse, Inc since July 2021. In her role as the Employment and Education Coordinator VISTA, Renee works to develop, organize, and launch Capital Clubhouse’s transitional employment program and build partnerships with local businesses and organizations. Renee also works to increase membership and organizational capacity through outreach, community partnerships, and grant writing.
Upon her VISTA service completion in July 2022, Renee will attend Georgetown University to study Law. She plans to enter the public interest field where she will continue serving as an advocate by working to create a more equitable society through enacting systemic change.
