CNHED is excited to announce Olive Idehen as the Bob Pohlman Lifetime Achievement in Community Development Award recipient for 2021!

Olive founded Callive, Inc. to help small and medium-sized nonprofit organizations be the best as they implement their strategic goals by developing strong governance and management.

Prior to Callive, Olive served several roles in the community development sector. From roles at E*Trade and Bank of America, to the Executive Director at the Coalition for Nonprofit Housing Development, Olive has left a strong legacy of innovation, passion and impact in the sector, and we are honored to present her with this award.

A minority and women-owned organizational development consulting firm headquartered in Rockville, Maryland. Callive helps organizations set themselves up for future success through strong organizational planning, board governance, management, program planning and implementation and fundraising to drive measurable results. About the Bob Pohlman Lifetime Achievement Award

Robert “Bob” Pohlman served as CNHED’s Executive Director from 2000–2014, and was a beloved figure in the community development field, as well as a great friend, mentor, and colleague to so many of us. Bob passed away in Spring of 2018. In light of his legacy, CNHED created the “Bob Pohlman Lifetime Achievement in Community Development Award.” This award is awarded annually to an outstanding local leader with at least 20 years of consistent service and leadership in the District of Columbia’s community development field. The winner receives $5,000 and a ceremonial plaque.
