One Community, One Goal

CNHED invites you to take this month to not only remember and celebrate the journey thus far toward racial justice and equity in our communities, but also the promising path in front of us and how a new generation of Black champions are leading the way in racial equity. Although we have come a long way in our fight against prejudice and injustice, discrimination and racism remain embedded in policies ranging from the financial and housing sectors to the education and social sectors.  Through partnerships, collaboration, and cross-sector innovation — now is the time to lead by example and come together as advocates, practitioners, and experts as one community working collectively toward the same goal:

A District of Columbia that is racially, economically, and socially just.
